Hi, I’m Ashlyn, the heart behind Gather & Bloom.

My love for flowers began when I was a little girl, invited to be a flower girl in a wedding on my parents’ property in Western QLD. From the first touch of those rose petals, I was hooked. Years of raiding my mum and grandparents’ gardens followed, and with no clear career path in sight, my mum suggested I try a Floristry course. That small step sparked my passion.

Since then, there’s been no turning back. I started my first business, Ash + Posy, and I’m forever proud of those first shaky steps on this journey. From delivering flowers to newborns in hospitals, to bringing blooms to life at local markets, and creating the wedding florals friends and family had always dreamed of, every experience has deepened my love for flowers and events.

I’m inspired by seasonal blooms and timeless florals, always with a modern twist. My style is romantic and whimsical, and I believe flowers are more than decoration - they tell a story, celebrate a moment, and create memories that linger long after the petals fall.

From my experience, I’ve created an easy-to-navigate selection of floral packages to help you get started. Once you’ve decided, I love to get hands-on, tailoring your florals to you and ensuring they perfectly match the look and feel you want for your event. I love all events, big or small, because they remind us of time - short-lived in the grand scheme of things, but beautiful and meaningful all the same.
